As part of the health and safety peer awareness program, Aluminerie Alouette employees had the opportunity to attend Jonathan Plante's conference.

Mr. Plante, a carpenter-joiner, became paraplegic after a fall from a height on a construction site. The speaker shared his story with the employees and partners, who were attentive and moved by the message.

We bet that they will remember for a long time the lessons learned from the impacts of such an accident at work.

The internal program "Acting between us: to make a difference!” will continue its deployment in 2019.
